Mark Phillip Brownson (born June 17, 1975 in Lake Worth, Florida) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher.
Brownson played for two different ballclubs during his career: the Colorado Rockies (1998–1999) and Philadelphia Phillies (2000). He made his Major League Baseball debut on July 21, 1998, an astounding 4-hit, complete game shutout against the Houston Astros. Unfortunately Brownson struggled throughout the rest of his short career, compiling an 8.54 ERA in the 10 games after his magical debut. He pitched in his 11th and final big league game on July 20, 2000.
